At 17:40 Moscow time in New York the S & P 500 dropped by 0,4%, to 1,100.18 points. DJIA index lost 12.85 points (-0.1%), up 10.284 points, reports Bloomberg.
Shares of pharmaceutical company Pfizer fell by 1,6% because of weak reporting group, not meet the expectations of analysts. Price of securities of the largest U.S. insurance company, MetLife, declined by 3,7% against the background of reducing net capital. Stock Quotes News Corp. added 4.5%, driven by gains in the second quarter of last year.
According to the statistical service of Automatic Data Processing (ADP), the level of employment in the private sector, the U.S. fell in January to 22,000 jobs. Meanwhile, analysts were expecting a more severe reduction in the workplaces for 30,000.
